We originally considered Iggy (after Iggy Pop) but then I wanted something more regal and “Leonard” popped into my head. Hadn’t even seen an episode of Big Bang Theory at the time and never was a huge Trekkie, so neither of those came into play at all! Merry Catsmas!
Thanks Mark, hoping yours was a good one and that you have a good New Years! I know we’re not supposed to say things like this in our work-focused society, but enjoy and make the most use of that extra unemployment hobby time while you’ve got it! 😀
Well, now its unemployment and not disability anyways. Got a few Brit tanks to finish for December, (and post for December’s challenge) and the rest and some Afrika Korps Germans and Italians for January. As such I doubt I can get in the January terrain challenge but who knows. Looking for a job is a full-time job!
I saw you posted them up but haven’t looked at them yet (haven’t had a chance to look at anyone’s blogs for a couple of days, been going hard at my own painting and such. Do you have any Tanker-friendly scenery or objective pieces you could finish off for January that also fit into your project? Or a Maus/Tiger/Konigstiger that would be an “army centrepiece”?
It does! Nice to see Leonard guarding what are now “his” presents! Merry Christmas to all!

Leonard has a lot in common with Danny John-Jules’ “The Cat” from Red Dwarf. “This is mine, and this is mine, and now this is mine, and this is mine…”

Good for him! I just love Red Dwarf – “your favourite breakfast, Mr Lister sir, hot lager with croutons” (probbly not quoted that quite correctly)!

We’re the ones who keep him fed, walked, and keep the supply of bird seed coming for his “pets”.
