Zombicide Rue Morgue Survivors & Zombivors Dan & Maddie

Zombicide Rue Morgue Survivors & Zombivors Dan & Maddie

I did not get much Zombicide completed in the last couple of months – so if I’m hoping to ever complete this mega project of 1st edition I need to pull my fist out. So then, we have this pair of characters from Rue Morgue – Dan the Fireman and Maddie, the …angry Twitter user? Seriously, her profile states “Maddie doesn’t think about her past anymore. All she sees are the simple facts of life and death, and right now she’s at war. A war against zombies in general and capitalist zombie pigs in particular!” She certainly looks like someone who fits the part there, anyway!

Dan was a pretty straightforward mini to paint – nothing crazy here nor anything really worth discussing, really. I used flouro yellow over the top of regular yellow for his satety stripes and added the ones in on his pants, so with the flouro, he pops a little more in real life.

Maddie on the other hand took ages to get finished – with a big break of several weeks until the final push to get her finished. She’s another one of those unnecessarily busy models with too much happening – I thought she was another one of the “I am Legend” KS backers but apparently not – she must be someone at Guillotine’s friend instead given the level of finnicky details – teddy bear, suspenders, 2 bound wounds, fucking buttons on her cutoff vest, etc. The mace she’s weilding is a little weird as well, and on the artwork it’s got something on it, so I painted it as an 8-ball.

Anyway, another two Survivors and Zombivors down! We’re nearing the end of the endless stream of boxed-game survivors, though there’s still more than a few “inspired by” Survivors and then “Guest Artist Box” Survivors to go after that.

May 2025 Monthly Round-Up

We’re catching up – here’s May’s round-up.

Yeah, the pictures in this post are pretty similar to the ones in the last post with all the Wargame Forge buildings. I still needed the space to have all the models laid out, and at least in terms of mass, they took up the most of all of May’s models.
This picture is kind of a preview of how the “Epic” scale table will end up looking – the mixture of different types of building will make the setting look a lot more interesting.

Once again, a relatively low model count for the past month with only 22 models completed in May. I had 174 painted at the end of April, so that gives a total of 196 completed at the conclusion of May.
Now I need to take some photos and I can get some of June’s models posted during the month of June!
