I’ve finally completed the final – and most important – models from the CMON Zombicide Ghostbusters crossover boxes – the actual four Ghostbusters!
Even though I’d finished all of the “monsters” from these sets quite some time ago, I was stuck on the fab four Ghostbusters models for a few years, and so I’ve recently finally forced myself to get them finished – it took quite a lot of time and checking of photo references to get all of their uniforms, never mind all of those little stickers and badges and lights and details on their Proton Packs.
We haven’t yet used any of these Ghostbusters models or characters ingame, but Gozer is a custom Abomination, while Slimer is actually a companion card to the Ghostbusters. Not sure how that works in practise, maybe something similar to the Zombicide Dog Companions?
Here’s the final shot of the whole gang, completed. We’ll be trying out the rules for all of these figures shortly to see how well they go, and find out if they work well integrated into the larger mass of Zombicide if ihey are better suited for “special” themed games. Either way, it’s a pretty cool set to own and have painted up nicely for the shelf!

Absolutely awesome work on all four, they look like a screenshot from the movie mate. Slimer being attached to the Ghostbusters sounds like a nod to the second movie, where he drove the bus that got Louis Tully to the action at the end of the movie, plus he helped in the cartoon series.

Yeah, I’ll second that – straight out of the movies. I’m blown away by the whole collection. Congrats on your results here!

I didn’t know that I needed to see this but – wow those are cool. Great painting with the colour matching too.

If someone asks if you’re a god …
Lovely painting there, you have captured their live action counterparts.

Great work, mate! Those backpacks look a bit tedious to paint potentially with lots of little, repeated details across four models and I think you nailed the look from the movies perfectly.

A long time since I’ve seen the film, and it’s not one of my favourites, but these figures are excellent and I recognised them all straight away (OK, I know the word “Ghostbusters” appears more than a few times in the posts, so even a dimwit like me would have got there eventually, but I DID recognise the characters)! 🙂
