Zombicide Toxic City Mall Expansion: Toxic Runners Pt.1 (Wanna be a Zombie?)

Zombicide Toxic City Mall Expansion: Toxic Runners

Back in October, I posted asking if any of the regular readers would like to be immortalised (in a form) on tabletop by nominating a t-shirt for me to paint on a zombie to (sorta) represent them. Obviously if this post is a thing, then I got some takers – so here’s the first batch of them!

First up we have Dave Stone in the Deadpool singlet, John from Justneedsvarnish in the Chihuahua t-shirt, and Pete S /SP in the Slayer T-shirt.

These models were finished back in November, so I’m doing the daily catch-up posts for a bit so we can get to February.

The next three models down our zombie-catwalk are Templeofthutmos representing St.Louis, Guru PIG in his Western Bulldogs jersey (stylised dog included!) and Faust rocking the Nirvana Smiley singlet. (Marouda actually owns that same T-shirt)

I still have another batch of these to get finished, so if you offered a suggestion but don’t see your zombified self here, don’t worry – it’s still coming!

And that’s it not only for today’s post, but for November 2023’s models. I’ll have a belated round-up for the month that was tomorrow sometime…

Marvel Zombies: Luke Cage – Hero Version and Zombie Version (Weekend of Cage!)

Marvel Zombies: Luke Cage - Hero Version and Zombie Version

Today we kick off what I’m calling The Weekend of Cage with this pair of models from Marvel Zombies – we have both of the versions of The Artist Formerly Known As Power Man from the Kickstarter’s many extras.

Marvel Zombies: Luke Cage - Hero Version and Zombie Version

As a kid, I had a single issue of Power Man and Iron Fist that someone had randomly given me, but I never liked the comic nor the characters. I mean, not too surprising for a little kid because, they weren’t Donald Duck or Spider-Man or Archie, so, y’know… I still don’t know much about Luke Cage these days, but I do know he no longer goes by the Power Man moniker and he was on Netflix for a time. Iron Fist doesn’t feature in the Marvel Zombies game, but he does have a little cameo here…

As with the other Marvel Zombies figures, these two are also from a Zombie Game so they should therefore qualify for Dave Stone’s Apocalypse Me 2023 challenge as well.
