December of Zombies: Zombicide 1st Edition: Zombie Dogz Part 2.

Zombicide 1st Edition: Zombie Dogz!

As you can see, I painted even more Zombie Dogz in December…

Zombicide 1st Edition: Zombie Dogz!

The first three Zombie Dogz are black with brown patches and paws.

The next two trios are black and a nice sandy brown. I obviously forgot that I’d already done a trio in plain black, so that’s a touch annoying, but not annoying enough to go back and repaint them.

And finally a batch of five German Shepherds. All the same sculpt so while still keeping them to looking like German Shepherds while at the same time making them look a little different to one another was also not a ton of fun. Since Dave’s current Paint what You Got challenge started on December 26th, I can actually claim all of these Dogz outside of the first three shown here!

I’ve still got a bunch of Dogz to finish painting. Eleven of them, I think. The hope is that I can get around to working on them in January so I can close the book on them and we can then incorporate them into our Zombicide games once again.

December of Zombies: Zombicide 1st Edition: Zombie Walkers, Part 2 – More Suits

Zombicide 1st Edition: Zombie Walkers in suits

We humans are very much creatures of habit. In November and then December, I got out of the habit of posting regularly. On the other hand, I kept busy with the painting aspect of the hobby. I painted rather a lot of models for Zombicide, which I’m going to post up over the next however many days. I’ll be doing them in more condensed form – these Zombicide walkers for example would probably have been posted across three individual posts as I finished each batch. Lucky you – you get them all at once!

Five batches of five zombies each in their own suit colour. Not for any particular gameplay reason, just to keep them looking a bit less uniform when in a horde. These first five were done in a “warm stone” colour.

And the next five in a “silver” blue-grey. I’d write more here, but what is there really to say?

The next batch are in a lighter, slightly richer blue than the previous set of zombies in blue suits.

And then we have five zombies in lighter tan suits to give a bit of variety (though it seems less so with the warm stone ones in the same set).

And lastly for now with these five in a darker grey – though this grey is still lighter than the original set of five..

And here we are – a pretty decent little horde of the undead for Zombicide and whenever we get around to something like Days Gone. Of course, we’d need some urban terrain to play something like that properly, so…

I still have a further 13 of these sculpts to go, but I’m going to do them a little differently. A couple of blue shirts for retail workers, a couple of GW redshirts perhaps, a couple of (formerly) suave dudes in 80’s pastel suits at Marouda’s suggestion. Hopefully I’ll get those done in January, but they could well bleed into February or March due to some other projects that I’m working on at the moment….

Still, before I get to posting those, I’ve got to get the rest of December photographed and posted up…
