As you can see, I painted even more Zombie Dogz in December…
The first three Zombie Dogz are black with brown patches and paws.
The next two trios are black and a nice sandy brown. I obviously forgot that I’d already done a trio in plain black, so that’s a touch annoying, but not annoying enough to go back and repaint them.
And finally a batch of five German Shepherds. All the same sculpt so while still keeping them to looking like German Shepherds while at the same time making them look a little different to one another was also not a ton of fun. Since Dave’s current Paint what You Got challenge started on December 26th, I can actually claim all of these Dogz outside of the first three shown here!
I’ve still got a bunch of Dogz to finish painting. Eleven of them, I think. The hope is that I can get around to working on them in January so I can close the book on them and we can then incorporate them into our Zombicide games once again.
Great work on all the dogs mate, and nice variation in colours as well. If you have more German Shepherds to do, you can go from pure white, to pure black and everywhere inbetween, there’s even a sandy colour variation.

You know, I just looked those up as I’d never heard of them before. I’ll probably add in a couple of each as I have another 5 of them to go – good call, mate!

Glad I could help, only knew as we were looking to get a pure black one, when we got our dog.

Makes sense, not to mention how many others would look “close enough” to these sculpts at that scale!

Oh nice! I like how you captured the different markings on the German Shepherds!

Thanks mate! I prefer not to have too many clones in my collection for things like this. 🙂

Very cool – Zogs? Dogbies? Either way, far scarier than the human Zees 😳

Once I finish the last one, I’ll have 30 of them. Which may well be too many zombie dogs! 😮

Great job getting all these done, mate! They’re quite a fierce looking lot. Someone should call animal control! 🙂

Thanks mate! Might need artillery to control these! On the home stretch of them now as I’ve been working on the final 11 in the past few days – since I can’t work on any true fine detail as I hurt myself restarting my lifting. 😮

That’s no good at all. I hope you feel better soon! I haven’t been able to work out regularly on account of being sick so I can feel your pain as I try to start ramping back up.

Just gotten to the point where I feel I can work out again today. Over a week of the worst DOMS ever and restricted arm movement for most of that time – really sucked!
Hope you’re on the upswing yourself by now!

Thanks Mark! Finally finished the last ones a couple of days ago giving me a total of 30 Zombie Dogz. Now I never have to paint another one of them again.
Zombie Wolfz on the other hand…. 😮

But wait – a guy like you and no Zombie Catz?

Well, obviously the cats were all too agile and clever to be caught or infected by any of the Zombies, so they escaped to a safe island with all the fish, rodents and birds they could ever want to eat!
