Hasslefree Miniatures HFA042 Frank Cisco (Clint Eastwood as “Dirty” Harry Callahan)

Hasslefree Miniatures HFA042 Frank Cisco (Clint Eastwood as “Dirty” Harry Callahan)

A quick one for today – this model is one of Kev White from Hasslefree Miniatures’ sculpts. Named “Frank Cisco” it’s pretty clearly based on Clint Eastwood’s Dirty Harry Callahan in his outfit from the action scene early on in the film.

This one.

I picked up this figure some time ago to use in Zombicide, but it sat around in a case (like so many others) for years before getting the paint.

Now that I’ve painted the “official” *cough* Zombicide models, it was time to paint the more nicely detailed and proportioned Hasslefree version.

A nice thing is that the two figures have different outfits from different parts of the film, so there’s both the aesthetic choice based on the sculpt as well as the colour scheme when one of us draws this character for the game.

Daily posts for a bit now as I try to get the September backlog posted before we get too deep into October – here we go!

  1. It was well worth double-dipping on this one! I think the sculpt is undoubtedly better though they both look great painted up at the same time. As I often say, this will be another good one to have ready for future Zombicide games 🙂

    • Thanks mate! Harry hasn’t come back up in the draw for our Zombicide games since I painted this one (naturally) – though we haven’t played for a little while now as we shifted to the Marvel version and have had a bit of a tabletop pause for the past few weeks…

  2. Nice work. While I like the colors of the first one better (the tan suit really fits the vibe of the character, which has a 70s feel to me). The pose of the one the second one looks better. Either way, both are painted great and I’d be happy with the lot! 🙂

    • Thanks! It turned out that both of the figures’ outfits were lifted from different parts of the film so I just copied them from how Clint was dressed. For sure the brown suits has a real 70’s vibe, though!
