I found another one of these ugly bastards! I cleaned it up, glued it to a 40mm base and stuck sand and some slate chips to it. Primed the whole thing, basecoated it in a ruddy flesh tone, washed it with Reikland Fleshshade (or something to that effect) and then lost/forgot about it for… well, at least one year. It’s resurfaced onto my painting desk recently, and had been bouncing around, ignored for a couple of months.

So then recently, I decided to try to clean up my desk a little by getting rid of this model by painting it. Since I gave the previous one a dark skin tone, this one got the aforementioned ruddy tone for a bit of variety on duplicated models.

As with the other one it was a pretty quick and easy paintjob – not bothering with things like tattoos or additional painted textures, and keeping the whole thing to a relatively limited earthy palette. I believe I have a third one of these somewhere, as I sawed off one of the clubs for a conversion elsewhere. If it ever rears its head I’ll likely graft a new wespon onto it and then knock it out as well.

This is an April model – I’ve yet to clear the table so I can photograph March’s round-up. Hopefully sometime this weekend, but in the meantime I’ll try to be less than a full calendar month behind in posting my stuff…
