Zombies? Again?
Yeah….
I do have a bunch of other stuff to show (so far) from this month, but I have a mental order of operations I want to use when posting this month’s models, and getting these zombies out of the way first is part of that.
These particular zombies are the last batch of the ones I’d hoped to finish off last month in June, but I’ve only managed to complete them yesterday. The fatties are the main reason there – they are just so packed with annoying details and aren’t a lot of fun to paint. But… they’re necessary if we want to play the next Zombicide campaign, Rue Morgue with painted models.
At this point I think we have enough walkers and even crawlers to play, but with only three runners and now four fatties – and no Abominations, it’ll still be a little while as I change my focus for the next few weeks to other models, and of course – terrain!
This will probably be the last regular zombie post for the month, but the next post will be some Zombicide-related terrain, and we might still see a couple of the aforementioned Abominations or even a Marvel Zombies model or two amongst the scenery…

Some fine-looking zombos right there, especially liking the fatties!

Thanks Mick! They were bastards to paint, so not looking forward to the (minimum) 12 more I need to paint top get the game playable – let alone the rest of them!

Good stuff! 🙂 Those fatties are nasty looking individuals!

Thanks John! They’re pretty ugly for sure!

Its good to see you getting more zombies done, mate. They’re always a joy to see. Those fatties look great but I can see what you mean on them being a pain to paint. I think they might have come up with a better way to handle the metal bars stuck in them, in particular. Those look easy to accidentally break as well, unfortunately.

Thank you! I need to get back to more zombies and other regular models for that matter. I’ve got a bunch of models that probably aren’t too far away from getting finished. As far as the bars go, these models are that kinda PVC where things like that are far more likely to bend than break. Though Leonard recently took out a runner that I’m going to need to pin in order to repair…
