More 3D printed Epic terrain again today – and another three pieces by Fabricator’s Lair – this time from the the Epic Sector: Industry set which you may recall from such posts as the most recent one as well as the Horton Spheres. This time we have a trio of buoldings directly inspired by playing with the unpainted bits from that most recent post.
As you can see, we essentially have a larger variation of the same basic idea, but instead of the generator, we have two silos.
I did originally plan to glue them down, but once all three elements were painted, I realised that they clipped together well enough to use in a game, and by not gluing them down I retained a lot more flexibility in how I can use all three pieces in a game. So, that’s what I did. Or didn’t, in this case.
As with the previous post’s model(s) – they look fine in both scales I’m likely to use them in as long as you’re willing to see windows as vents. They’d probably go okj for 15mm sci-fi as well, if I actually played something in that scale! We now have another trio of models (these are from September still) for Dave Stone’s Season of Scenery ’25 – Extended Edition.

Well, not for awhile at this rate! I’ve got a small pile of September’s models still to come, then the stuff I’ve been finishing so far this month, and the stuff I hope to finish this month, and….

I guess it isn’t surprising since I really liked the last one from Fabricator’s Lair but this is also really nice. It reminds me a bit of silos you see farmers have but it could just as easily be something industrial I reckon. The red and blue is really eye-catching as well!
