Legions Imperialis Alpha Legion Land Raiders and Rhinos 3D Prints

Well, it’s about time I got back to posting stuff up, so here’s the start of the stuff completed from between October-December 2025. During my latest hiatus I was painting a lot less, but I still got some stuff done now and then. First to show are a few more 3D printed tiny tanks for Legions Imperialis. Not that many of them – just a half dozen. But it is a little more towards eventually getting to play.

As with the last LI prints I showed, I’ve had these files on my drive for years now – PROTIP: Always download the free STLS you think you might want to print down the line, even if you don’t have the means to do so right now. Particularly if they’re …inspired by an IP owned by a large company (and not just the one you’re thinking of!)

I do have a whole bunch more of these to get both started and finished, but these are the ones I got done in the last quarter of 2025. I’m not sure if I’ll set them up in units with the top door markings or not. I’ll figure that out later on!

  1. Brilliant matey , I could have used those magnificent workers helping me move 2 meters of mulch this morning as it was quite warm, I love the colour as we , and I’m sure you down in town have seen beetles of the same colour. Great work matey 👍🏻

    • Thanks Pat. There are certainly times when I could do with an assist to move things around the place. Luckily I have Marouda who is surprisingly adept at moving heavy objects about!

Now you point it out – I do know those beetles – we used to call them “Christmas Beetles” and as kids we’d dig them up from next to the school fence in the huge sand pit area to look at them.

  2. These really take me back!
Epic was my first wargaming love, over 30 years ago.
These are very evocative of the stuff I was painting back then, though I expect yours are a tad larger, from the detail crammed in there.
    Great stuff!!

    • Thanks John! I hope to get a few more batches of these done soon. Just doing a bit of a “finish some of the crap on the table so I can start new things I actually want to paint right now” run right now to make some space! 😀
