Wargame Forge 3D Prints: Military Command Bunker/Ruined Military Command Bunker – Mil006 & MilR006

Yet another pair of prints from Wargame Forge on MyMiniFactory today – this time we have the intact and damaged versions of the “Command Bunker”. Turns out there’s also a destroyed (pancaked) version of this as well, which I didn’t realise until recently. Kind of annoying, that, as I’d have liked to get that one as well for the tryptich.

I just thought this was another interesting looking piece. I scaled it up slightly from the “Battletech” size to the “Legions Imperialis/Adeptus Titanicus” size (133%). Now the garage door fits with the LI vehicles as well.

The details of the paintjob are kind washed out in these pics – unfortunately they were too large to place side-by-side in the light box. Perhaps I’ll have to take a supplementary photo or two later. Ironic since the space issue is why it’s taken so long for me to post these, as I needed to clear the table to fit them side-by-side!

Again, these were shaded in that big Oil Wash session we had awhile back. I also added some weathering pigments afterwards.

And here they are alongside some little army mans and toy robots. Yet again – these terrain prints count towards the models for Dave Stone’s Season of Scenery ’25.

Another pair of prints from Wargame Forge over on MyMiniFactory again today – these are two versions of “Sci-Fi Building 16”, which I scaled up to 133%. As I’ve noted a whole bunch of times I intend to use these buildings for both 6-8mm scales, and so often bump my prints up a little in size so that Legions Imperialis Infantry (which I’ll be using for Battletech Infantry when needed as well) don’t look way oversized.

As you can see, the buildings are pretty large compared to the models – and while the infantry are still a liiitle bit big compared to the buildings we really wouldn’t want to go larger with these prints. I did the windows in the way I’ve done a lot of these, and went with “silver/iron/steel” rather than grey or beige etc – with a bit of silver-blue (Grey Knights Steel from GW) and some blue inks airbrushed on – and then a satin gloss to finish – just so that the steel didn’t look more like a dull grey.

Once again – these terrain prints work for Dave Stone’s Season of Scenery ’25.
