December of Zombies: Zombicide Black Plague: Murder of Crowz Part 1.

Zombicide Black Plague, Zombicide 1st Edition, Murder of Crowz, Zombie Crows

A quick one today! While looking through tubs of models in late December I found these models sitting there with some texture paste on their bases and sprayed in black. These were from one of the Black Plague expansion boxes that I opened and got out long ago in order to use as Razorwing Flocks for my Dark Eldar/Drukhari in 40k.

Of course, I never got around to painting them back then, and since in Decemebr I was in full Zombicide mode, I decided to get ’em done. These Black Plague Crowz are the Five won’t be enough to incorporate into any games, so these will just go into storage until I can get at least 10 more cleaned and painted. The painting is pretty trivial, but the mould line cleaning will take a bit longer…

The only difference between the two types of Crowz for regular modern Zombicide and the fantasy Black Plague will be in my basing, since they’re identical sculpts – so I’ll be able to use both sets across both games. Once they’re painted, anyway…

December of Zombies: Zombicide 1st Edition: Zombie Dogz Part 2.

Zombicide 1st Edition: Zombie Dogz!

As you can see, I painted even more Zombie Dogz in December…

Zombicide 1st Edition: Zombie Dogz!

The first three Zombie Dogz are black with brown patches and paws.

The next two trios are black and a nice sandy brown. I obviously forgot that I’d already done a trio in plain black, so that’s a touch annoying, but not annoying enough to go back and repaint them.

And finally a batch of five German Shepherds. All the same sculpt so while still keeping them to looking like German Shepherds while at the same time making them look a little different to one another was also not a ton of fun. Since Dave’s current Paint what You Got challenge started on December 26th, I can actually claim all of these Dogz outside of the first three shown here!

I’ve still got a bunch of Dogz to finish painting. Eleven of them, I think. The hope is that I can get around to working on them in January so I can close the book on them and we can then incorporate them into our Zombicide games once again.
