You know how this goes by now here. End of the month, painting backlog, so we get a run of daily posts in an attempt to not have the end of the month post happen halfway through the following month.
You know how this goes by now here. I finish a Superhero figure for one of the multiple games the character is in, post it up, and then I post another version soon after.
So anyway – yah. I painted the other Iron Fist. This one took a couple of goes, as it turned out that he’s actually wearing a significantly different costume to the Marvel Crisis Protocol version posted yesterday. I guess, the mask is the same, and the shades of green and yellow are the same, but… yah.
I said most all I have to say about the character (who I still know very little about, having not watched the Netflix series yet), so instad of yapping on, here’s a couple shots of Iron Fist reunited with Power Man Luke Cage in Marvel United form!
See you with more models (probably) tomorrow! It won’t be Iron Fist since he apparently didn’t make the cut for Marvel Zombies, so it’ll be something else instead!
Nice job! It’s fun seeing the different game versions of the characters coming out in successive posts. On another note “denim blue” just arrived in the mail…but I might have to buy a new mini, as I don’t have any with jeans on! 😂

Any modern or sci-fi figure is a potential candidate! Don’t forget jean jackets and cut-offs!

Another great looking super hero finished, and I think you’ve adapted well to the alternative costume, still looks like Iron Fist to me.

Thanks Dave – I did have to repaint his torso when I realised, but it worked out in the end! 🙂

He’s certainly dressed more sensibly for the weather here!

I like this version of Danny quite a bit. Its certainly less over the top but still makes him look powerful and like a martial arts expert. You probably have already heard this, but the Iron Fist Netflix show is by far the worst of that lot and is not well liked by fans or critics. You might have more joy finding the most acclaimed comic book run(s) and reading those instead. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Faust can recommend something either!

Mostly just from Faust’s comment – though I guess I didn’t really hear much (or any) buzz around any of the Netflix shows aside from DD and Punisher.
Honestly, IF is such a minor (to me) character that I’d probably have better use of the time to find out, find and read a run on almost anything else around here…

Its true. Iron Fist is a really minor character and to me, he’s far from being one of the best Marvel characters. Its kind of amazing he got his own show to begin with when you think about it.

I guess Netflix was trying to set up their own “Avengers” with the Defenders Televisual Universe – or “DTU”. 😀
