Another of those quick and dirty D&D model posts today – A trio of monsters from the Temple of Elemental Evil Adventure Boardgame, which is chronologically the next in the series after the Drizzt box. I’d originally planned to hold off on posting these so I could get a second trio of models in here, but as it happens I simply don’t have any other ToEE monster models that will be anywhere near completed in May, so the post will just have to be pushed out and the next monster models will get their own posts in (probably) June when they’re done.

One sculpt by three, pretty simple models. This sculpt was also used in prepainted form for a D&D Attack Wing Hobgoblin expansion as well as in the Dungeon Command Tyranny of Goblins set of prepaints. I skipped the purply-orange armour of those prepainted models and just went for worn steel on mine. Similarly I eschewed the darker skin used in the prepaints and went for the classic GW-ish “Hobgoblin Orange” type of flesh. Particularly since I’ve already given my previous D&D Orcs a ruddy brown Uruk-Hai inspired flesh tone and wanted these guys to be a little distinct.
