Here’s another pair of Ms.Marvel figures I recently completed. It’s starting to make sense why it took me so long to get through this character now, isn’t it? This pair of Khans Kamala are, as the title states from CMON’s Marvel Zombies boardgame. Being much, much smaller than the Crisis Protocol figures, the details on this pair were smaller, and it turned out – much easier to paint – though done alongside the other ones, these were still a slog. Things like folds in clothing are both proportionally deeper as well as actually deeper, which is the problem with the Crisis Protocol version.
These CMON figures also have a LOT more happening with the bases, so they tend to take a bit more work as CMON delves into the “mini-diorama” aspect of making their Marvel figures look dynamic a bit more often than AMG, who often tends towards “figure held onto their base by a toenail” – and to be fair, at least the Crisis Protocol Ms.Marvels had both feet on the ground. Once again, these go towards both “Fembruary” and Dave Stone’s Paint What You Got Challenge 24-25.

Cheers, Dave! I don’t mind bases like these ones on figures sometimes, as long as they fit and aren’t overwhelming the actual figures.
I think I don’t mind them on Zombicide figures moreso than Crisis Protocol where they really overdo it sometimes/too often – looking at Beast, Agent Venom, New Black Widow, etc.

Very nice! 🙂 I like the non-zombie figure a lot more than the previous two figures – maybe it’s the base and the more dynamic pose that work better!

Thanks John. I agree with you on the non-zombie pose here being better than the Crisis Protocol figures – I’d go so far as to say that the Zombie version is also better than both of the MCP figures as well!

Those bases are very busy and vertical considering the size of the mini but then again, I suppose there’s nothing wrong with that. These came out very nicely though and I like the creativity on the zombie version, in particular!

Yeah, I think perhaps the size and verticality of these ones is to literally lift up Kamala, since she’s basically a teenage girl so her stature should be a lot slighter than someone like Cap, never mind the bigger boys like Colossus
