A second pair of models that didn’t quite make the finish line for Fembruary, we have Alice the Diner Waitress and Nikki the Bush Pilot from Last Night on Earth’s Timber Peak box.
I don’t have anything especially interesting to write about this pair. As with last posts’s Marvel Zombicide models, they didn’t get completed in time for Fembruary, so they can be FeMarch models instead – though there’ll obviously be more than just female models painted this month. I haven’t played LNoE in an age now, but I guess these can also be turned into customs for Zombicide. They’re both smaller and lower/softer-detailed than the Zombicide models, but they’ll still work ok on the tabletop.

Thanks Mark! It’s really based around a couple of layers of very controlled drybrushing with some blue ink added in the darker areas afterwards.

Yeah, as I mentioned in your debate with Kuribo on his comments thread – these are the sow’s ears that let me practise techniques to improve my work on the good models without stressing on messing the better ones up!

Good job on these, mate! Those are tough sculpts but you’ve made them look as good as they possibly can. I always commend you for getting miniatures like this done as I often want to chuck them out the window as you know 🙂

Thanks mate – as I said in that debate you and Faust were having – these models are a great low-stress chance to practise the techniques I end up using on the better models (like the Mavel Civilians). Got to get those reps in!
And at arm’s length on the table, they look totally fine!
