Another Imperial Assault model today. This is the miniature of Luke Skywalker from the Imperial Assault Core Set – depicting “Farm Boy” Luke running around on the Death Star after the trash compactor with a Stormtrooper Belt and an E-11 blaster.
There’s a lot of white on this version of Luke. I’m happy enough with the boots, legwraps, pants and belt, though his robe/tunic seems like I may have gone a bit too tan/brown with it – though to be fair it does look a little different in different lighting situations.
These images I’m looking at are blown up SO much in the editor that the model looks really average here, but it’s actually a really small model. The early IA models were smaller than the ones that came along later, and of course Luke is supposed to be “a little short for a Stormtrooper”. I’ve added a disc to his base that I created to raise IA base sizes to the same as the ones from Legion.
And here hs is alongside the Legion models of Bespin Luke and the recent IA model I painted of Thrawn, who I’ve also mounted on a lift-disc – which completely turns Thrawn into a giant compared to both the Imperial Assault Luke as well as the large-scaled Luke from the original Legion Core box.
This version of Luke is the last model that goes towards both Dave Stone’s Paint What You Got Challenge 25-26, and also count towards Anne’s 2026 Miniature Assembly Challenge as he was a mold line cleanup situation done in January.
Next: February’s Round-Up!

Excellent work mate, and depending on the contrast of reference pictures Luke’s tunic seems to go from pure white to tan, so it works for me.
