Marvel Zombies: Bolivar Trask and Senator Kelly

Marvel Zombies: Bolivar Trask and Senator Kelly

After a good while since the last Marvel Zombies models shown here we return today to the game’s bystander figures with a pair from the X-Men Resistance Core Set. We have Senator Kelly, an X-Men character who is notable because of his advocacy for the Mutant Registration Act, and secondly Bolivar Trask – an evil Tony Stark-type – who might seem a bit tall if you’ve never read the comics and only seen the Fox films. Don’t worry though – you’ll see Dinklage along on the blog eventually.

Basically, two white guys in suits. Not the hardest models to paint, but then also not the funnest, either. Suits really aren’t my favourite, but these two weren’t too bad – and I do like how Bolivar’s turned out nice and smooth while Kelly’s looks somewhat textured. The outfit colours were taken from the character cards rather than any specific comics or films, so we just have a grey suit and a grey-brown suit.

DCeased – Gotham City Outbreak: Harley Quinn

DCeased - Gotham City Outbreak: Harley Quinn Zombicide

Last model for January here – just a single model from CMON’s DCeased Gotham City Outbreak game that went straight to retail – which is a reskinned Marvel Zombies, which is a reskinned Zombicide. Of course there are little tweaks between versions but the models and characters are either broadly compatable or directly compatable.

These are far from my best photos, as Harley has come out weirdly shiny here and looks much better in hand,. Being blown up to about 10x the model’s size doesn’t really help, but – you know, I kinda just want to get this one posted and over with. My understanding is that this is either the the original design of Harleen Quinzel’s (groan) costume or a variation on it.

I’d hoped to get a pair of DCeased/Marvel Zombies/Zombicide figures done to post together, but that didn’t work out in the end, but Harley here does at least count as one more down for Dave Stone’s Paint What You Got Challenge 24-25.
