One more Honey! Baby. This one was assembled alongside the Kiwi Squadron, and then after going through the spray prime and basecoating with them, got put off to the side until a bit later, when I mimicked the camouflage scheme used on my 8th Army M7 Priests.
I also gave the model the same unit markings, since I decided that this Honey would be assigned to the mechanised artillery unit in its role as a forward OP (observation post). When building this one to be an OP, I decided to give it a fair bit of additional stowage in the form of water cans, a fuel tank and lots of milliput bedrolls and the like.
And now to finish, a little glamour shot of the Honey alongside the Priests. Ready to race back and forth across the North African desert and anywhere else they’re needed!
Oooh, very nice! 🙂 Looks really good alongside the Priests!

Chers John – I figured if it was going to work with them I may as well make it obvious that it’s seconded to the unit!

Another fantastic looking tank mate, the extra stowage adds to the effect for the role it’s assigned, and looks perfect next to the Priests.

Excellent – the extra gear really helps to mark it out as special – love it!

Cheers, Alex. I might give the cloth parts a subtle wash so they stand out just a tiny bit more as they blend in quite a bit in the pics.

I like the extra bits you’ve added and the latest tanks look excellent! I do think you may be able to set a world record if you keep this tank painting streak up much longer 😉

Cheers Kuribo! I’ve got 14 more Panzers on my painting desk that I’ll (hopefully) get painted over this weekend (or close to it) now that I’ve finished work for the year. I’ve also picked out a few Orks and Beastmen that I’ve been working on a little as well at the same time, so there’ll probably be a bit more variety from here on in, though the WWII stuff will be a staple for the foreseeable future – in the mix with everything else, essentially.
And a lot more of those terrain reviews – followed by weathered versions, as there’s simply NO reviews of a lot of it out there for anyone’s use, and as you know, I need to touch them up a bit for my own satisfaction. 🙂

Sounds good to me, mate. That will be a nice bit of variety over the coming days and weeks. I haven’t seen any painted Beastmen in quite some time so I’ll be excited to see ’em 🙂

Hope you enjoyed! The FoW/15mm stuff at this point is something I just consider in the permanent rotation – and from time I time I might go hard on them as I do with models from any game/genre, but it’s not going to become a FoR blog or anything!
