Another quick post with some terrain painted in a timely manner for Dave Stone’s annual Season of Scenery challenge. I actually had the first half of these sprayed and washed, but then I lost them for several months, found them again, lost them again, found the second batch, and then found the first batch.
As you can see, I went for a pretty basic rough and weathered look. I saw a set of these on (I think) reddit that looked good so went with a similar “desert yellow” kind of scheme.
I ended up finishing them in the better part of two evenings. Just assembly line painting with time for the different stages to dry. I probably have too many of them for a normal Kill Team game, but better too many than too little I guess – especially if they don’t take up much space!

Great work

Well, the good news is that they’re pretty quick and easy to do – especially if you have slightly fewer of them they’ll be far less mind-numbing!

These really look the part, mate. They’re perfect for 40k or Necromunda or anything with a bit of grittiness to it. Kill Team has gotten some pretty strong terrain in recent years as well.

Thanks Kuribo – I just think of all of them as under the 40k umbrella for the most part, and Kill Team and Necromunda even moreso with the claustrophobic, close quarters industrial elements we keep seeing from both.

Nice work and at first I thought they were Necromunda bits. So they will certainly fit in with multiple games!

Thanks mate – they’re pretty much the same thing for that scale regardless. 🙂

Thank you John – as with a lot of similar things the most work was in getting started and then just getitng them done moreso than needing to be skillful.

Very nice! They came out great. I need to get after my own at some point.

Thanks mate – the hardest part of them was honestly getting started. And then grinding through since I had so many. If you have a more sensible number of them they’ll be a doddle!
