June Monthly Round-Up (Zombicide Rue Morgue Skinner Zombies)

A slightly different tack to the usual today. Aside from the Zombicide Survivors/Zombivors I already posted, the only other models I finished in the month were Rue Morgue Skinner Zombies of various types.

The plan was always to dump them all into one post containing however many I managed to complete, and as it happened, I didn’t finish off any other kinds of model anyway.

Given this, there didn’t feel like much point in giving them their own post, followed immediately with a monthly round up, so here we are. Dual-purpose post!

As usual, I just used a bunch of similar paints on these so that when combined with other batches, will give a nice overall variety with a (hopefully) overall slightly-hospital-themed palette..

In all, I completed 5 crawlers, 3 runners and 21 walkers. Add those to the 4 Survivor/Zombivor models for a total of 33 models in the month. A lot of low-effort zombies and a few characters. A new running total of 229 for 2025.

On a more positive note, I got a decent amount of work done chipping away at terrain items that I’m hoping to pay off  in July and August.

  1. Excellent work getting this big batch of zombies done, mate! You did well to make them look like individuals but still cohesive in their own right too. Those Skinner zombies make a perfect standard zombie to use in-game I reckon.

    • Thanks mate. I found them hard to distinguish from the other types I’ve painted as models so I eventually went with greyish-yellow-ochre-brown skin tones and “hospital floor” bases so we will be able to tell them apart on the board.
