With all that’s been going on, I’d actually forgotten about Zomtober this year until a couple of days ago, so these models weren’t painted for Zombtober, but painted during it. (A shame last month wasn’t Zomtober in a lot of ways!) We have here a fourth set of seven Zombies from the Last Night on Earth board game. I’ve done these ones in blue, since the core game comes with Green and Brown, and then there’s the expansion Red set. The standalone expansion Timber Peak came with another 14 zombies, this time in Dark Brown and Dark Green. Since I’ve already been using a mix of light and dark on my colour-themed zombies, I decided to skip the “dark” versions of the existing colours and just go for a new pair of colours – so Blue for these, and the last set will be Purple. I’ve got that last set of standard zombies outside just needing some primer, so maybe I can get them done before October ends….
I’ve spent a bit of time looking for the “headquarters” of Zomtober in 2020 to add a link to these (and find out if appropriate urban and ruined terrain for a Zombpocalypse counts), but can’t seem to find it….

Yeah, I’m not sure. Last year it was centred on Simon’Brummie’s blog,

but he doesn’t appear to have posted anything about it at all this year, and I know a lot of other bloggers including Roger have been concentrating in tributes for Vampifan (who was a bloke I didn’t know, but I just read about him last night).
Ah well, I’m with Zomtober in spirit, anyway!

Braaaiins… 🧟♂️ Looking good mate, you really do a fantastic job of painting zombies. Once that last lot are done we’re going to need to see a picture of the entire horde.

Thanks Kuribo. I spent a while last wekeend queuing up a big pile of 12-hour-spaced posts to get all of these things done before the middle of November since I knew I’d be flat out with work all week and unable to post or blog.
Now I just need to photograph two more posts worth of stuff for the models I’ve finished since, then my round-up, then I may actually have October finished before Mid-November….

I have appreciated all of the content you’re posting and I hope to get caught up later today or by the end of the weekend at the latest. Writing stuff ahead is smart I think. I don’t know why I never do it but I really should. I would imagine it gives you peace of mind knowing that you have content already in place for the future.
