It’s getting to that time of year when I start to get tired. I’m still painting, but posting and reading posts and commenting on posts.. that’s more difficult right now. Still, I’ve made myself go out and take some photos of recent models. I missed a few photos for other posts, so we’ve got this one today with another pair of Zombicide Survivors.
First up we have Terry. He’s described as ex-military.
I’ve pretty much followed the artwork for the paint scheme for both Terry and James here.
James’ minimal bio lists him as being “a sharpshooter” – so I guess it makes total sense that the model is depicted with a sawn-off double-barrelled shotgun with a shell belt.
The model’s outfit and artwork gived him a somewhat ex-military, or perhaps survivalist-oriented feel.
Anyway – two more models for our games done!

Excellent work on all four models mate

Thanks John. I ran Terry through a pair of linked scenarios this week and he worked well as a support character.

Smashing work as usual, I guess at least James has a gun (all be it not really a sharp shooters weapon), but it al least makes more sence than if they had given him a sword.

James Gunn! I see what you did there! 😉
I expect that the bio writers have very little to do with the artists (both 2d and 3d, so they probably just slap something onto approved designs that seem good enough.

Cheers Guru! I have about 30-40 more 1st edition survivor models to get done, not counting the actual zombies. I think my chance of getting them all finished before the end of 2023 is a little …ambitious.

I know the feeling. I still have most of the Ist Ed survivors, all of 2nd Ed survivors and zombies and all of Undead or Alive to do. The chances are I might be a zombie before they are finished,

Hang in there, mate! Hopefully things aren’t too crazy for you with work in the coming days. I like how the hair is sculpted on these minis. Its a little less uniform than how many sculptors seem to style it. Both of these guys look primed and ready for the zombie outbreak to me! 🙂

The outlook looks to be a busy two weeks from next week, then a lighter two weeks, then about 12 weeks of increasingly complete insanity until everything stops dead in its tracks a couple day or two before Christmas. 😮

Lovely stuff as always dude, & perfectly ok to slow down once in a while – it just puts your monthly output back within reach of us mere painting mortals! 😊

Cheers Alex. I’m still getting in my painting licks as much as possible (helps to keep me sane, after all!) – just the blogging part of it all can get more difficult – especially with time as a Zero-sum resource!

Nice work! They look a bit like Sean Gunn and Sam Elliot to me! 😃
