Sci-Fi Cargo Sled - Curufin 3D Prints

Some more 3D printed models aimed at Star Wars Legion today. These models were digitally sculpted by Curufin, and can be found for free on Cults3D.

They’re pretty simple and straightforward, which thankfully led to them painting up pretty simply. I did the pair of these in one afternoon, though the grimy wash really changed the blue-grey tone towards brown pretty hard.

As you can see here, they turned out pretty decently in the end. I may have scaled these up a little more than recommended as the control panels appear a bit high compared to Luke here, but then the tray size looks pretty approriate. These will work well for games like Legion and even Shatterpoint – but also they’re generic enough I think to work in games like 40k or even Marvel Crisis Protocol.

    • Thanks mate. I’m planning to get some armour painted up once I clear a bit more space of half-painted models!
      Well, the armour in question is also half-painted but you get my point… 😶

  7. These are perfect for Star Wars and they’ve got that vehicle/landspeeder look, I reckon. I think the scale looks good overall even with the control panel. Perhaps they were designed with a slightly taller alien in mind, for all we know 🙂
