Remember the Sugar Skull I posted about a couple of weeks ago? Well, I didn’t get it finished on time. Luckily I’ve got a second chance to get it done by early January.
Here’s the progress so far:
Rollins’ Sun is a little wonky, but that section of skull is pretty rough and features the joins between the sections, amongst other things. Still, it fits the Mesoamerican feel pretty well. While the Sugar Skull stuff might (mostly) not be my usual type of content, It’s certainly always good fun freehanding designs.
It looks great!! Nice lines and good choice of colours. My wife paints sugar skulls actually. I wonder if she’d let me post some pix of them on here?

Sounds good. You can post them on her behalf, or even set her up with her own category and WordPress account and she can post them up herself. 🙂
Oh yeah – there’s something wrong on with the comments on your site – none of mine seem to work!

I’ll try and persuade her.
Oh really?? I wonder what is going on? Unfortunately I am elderly (36) and don’t have much skill on the technology side of things. I’ll google it and see what I can do. That’s really annoying! I’ll get back to you. Thanks for the heads up.

36? Elderly? I wish I was 36 again! Look in the comments section of your Dashboard perhaps? I know that I have to manually approve the first few comments from a new person before they automatically go through.

Nice work dude, I’d be more than happy to have this on my desk! Now… can you do them in 28mm scale?!?

In 28mm? I think it’d be a little more abstract at that scale. 😉
