Here’s the next batch of Fortune and Glory figures (and the last for awhile). I finished these yesterday.
These are the Nazis. I’ve painted them (vaguely) as Afrika Korps, or DAK in homage to Raiders of the Lost Ark. I noticed in that post where I painted the Pyramids and Zeppelin that I was talking about painting them as SA Brownshirts, which would have been more historically accurate in some ways, but 1) I forgot. and 2) Who cares?
Here’s the whole batch of them. All 16 of them. I used textured paint for the bases on these, and also gave a few of them light green shirts while others have tan shirts, again in homage to Indy rather than going hard for historical accuracy. The shading was done with The Dip. As with the Mobsters from a couple of days ago, these boardgames figures get what they deserve.
Here are the Nazis and the Mobsters scattered around on the game board. The good news is that they look pretty good for boardgame meeples now that they’re painted up. The bad news is that it appears that the painted Zeppelin and Pyramids and even the unpainted player hero figures are all missing. So well done, me. Dumbass.
Next up, back to “normal” miniatures, and a Painting Decembuary Round-up.
